This summer I had all the best intentions of losing more weight. I even bought a lunch bag, which came with an ice pack, to carry my food to work. I think most of you can tell from the picture above where this blog post is going.
My plans did not turn out the way I would have liked. I ended up stopping at a Dunkin’ Donuts every morning before my early morning classes for a donut and medium coffee. To make matters worse, my workplace often had free donuts for everyone. The rest of the day went a little better. However, I am certain I went well over my number of calories for the day.
Right now, I crave carbs. I have gained about 5 pounds over the summer. I bought a bunch of low-carb food this week and am trying to get back on track. I usually fly to see my family during Christmas vacation, so I want to lose about 10 lbs by that time. A major stumbling block could be arriving in the fall. I have been scheduled to teach an 8am course again.
