Why I Couldn’t Finish Writing 101

In September I starting Blogging University’s Writing 101 course.  I really liked it and was learning a lot about writing.  It was especially helpful to see some of the posts from some of the other bloggers with more writing experience.  It has been a few weeks since I have posted anything.  I had to stop partway through my Writing 101 course.

At the beginning of the semester, I was doing fine.  My students did not have much work that needed grading, and I could manage Writing 101 and work at the same time.

As time progressed, they started handing more work in.  It became difficult for me to manage Writing 101 and my courses at the same time. I started to procrastinate in trying to do both.  Unfortunately, this was not working.

Something had to give, so I decided to stop partway through Writing 101.  I can always attempt Writing 101 again at another time when I have a little more free time.

I am trying to find a good balance between work and blogging.  Most of my students have just taken a major exam and are anxious to find out how they are doing.  I am attempting to get them graded within a reasonable time frame.  I should have posted this earlier and humbly apologize for my negligence.
